I always told myself that I needed to be stronger, that all my problems that were going on in my life could very well be gone if I let them. Today, I have no worries. My mind is free to roam where it pleases. I don’t have to worry about the ‘what-ifs’ anymore. Everything feels right, everything feels just like I have always wanted them too when I was going through depression.
Mother’s Day shopping done, and I’m feeling pretty good about the last couple of weeks of school that are coming up. I’m very much looking forward to summer (as every other teenager ever) and I have so many plans, so many dreams that I’m done holding back. There’s no time to regret, there’s no time to forget who we are when that can very well be all we have at times.
The first step, is letting go, and loosening up. Life will always be ready to throw you a curve-ball once in a while, or even everyday, but it’s how you deal with it that matters. If you truly believe that you can move forward, then you will do just that. It’s all in your head, all the fear, all the pain, it’s all in your head.
“Keep Calm And Be Strong Like Katherine.”
Out of all the T.V. shows I watch, Katherine’s character in (The Vampire Diaries) has always stood out to me. I had wanted to be like her ever since. (No, not a vicious, manipulative psycho-vampire-bitch) but, a strong independent woman that knows how to put herself first.
Today? That’s exactly what I am.
Take your first step you guys, it’ll be the one and only reason you reach your goal. There’s always a loop-hole to find in that darkness you may be hovering. Let it go, and do what you love. Never forget that there’s always a better way to be, and a better way to feel.
