NaNoWriMo Begins!

“50,000 Words – 30 Days”

Happy November 1st! We all know what that means. National Novel Writing Month. I spent the morning reading through all of the preparation I’ve been doing in regards to the material I will be pumping out this month. The important thing I’ve learned when it comes to juggling the longing feeling of writing and the rest of my responsibilities, is always make time.

It is very easy to fall off the tracks, trust me, I do it all the time. I get severe writer’s block sometimes. It is important to at least attempt to reintroduce that inspiration into your life, in the hopes that there will be something to spark. I know for a fact that this can be difficult, and it has been rather difficult for me in the past. I’ve learned that what helps me the most is not what used to inspire me, rather it is doing things I don’t normally do: acting outside of my comfort zone. This allows for a broader sense of thinking, and can go hand in hand with helping you to achieve your best material.

I will be checking in as the month goes on to let you all know how my journey is going! I’d like to know if any of you are venturing off into this as well, so feel free to share because I’d love to talk about it.

Love, Anisa Nasir (3)
