“It’s About to Get Personal.”
For quite some time now, I have wanted to begin sharing much more of my life on this here blog. I’ve narrowed my content strictly to writing for quite a long time, and I missed just being able to jump on here and talk about my life, what I’m currently enjoying, or any personal topics I’d like to discuss. I’ve thought about making a separate blog for certain things, whether that’d be fashion pieces I’m currently loving, or makeup I enjoy, or even just a film that caught my attention. Though, the reason I began this blog was to just have a place to collect my thoughts, to share what I’m up to, and to feed into my productivity from all angles.
With the start of this “Lifestyle and Literature” section I can give myself the opportunity to just be entirely candid about what it is I’m experiencing, or loving. Things I’d like to share because I thoroughly enjoy it. I’ve taken the time this morning to really revamp the organization of my content here on my blog. I wanted to organize my categories so they all made sense and so that they are easily accessible from the homepage, which brings me great joy seeing it up there. Writing is and has always been a big part of my life, but I have felt rather restricted whilst blogging about just how my writing is going, or how productive I may have been (even though these posts still help to keep me on track and they will still be something I enjoy writing), I just want to explore the other options within the realm of my creativity.
So, with all of that being said, welcome to “Lifestyle and Literature” a place where I can just talk about life, about home decor and fashion, about food and travel. So far, I can say that I am already really excited just writing this post alone, and this is merely the introduction. This gives me the incentive to talk about the smaller things that make me happy, like a pair of shoes I just bought, or a jacket I’d like to see styled. I want this section of my blog to feel as personal as possible, a little insight into all of the things that make me happy.
So far, I’ve organized my parent and sub categories to separate my writing posts from my lifestyle posts, as well as creating a section for my favourite reads and all that I love about them, see “As She Writes: The Book Club” for posts and reviews of books I am loving and the lasting impressions they may leave.
I do hope that you all enjoy the content and consistency that is going to come with these new additions, just as much as I will enjoy writing and sharing them with all of you. I should say, welcome to my life.
